About Me

Thanks for visiting my corner of the internet! I am a Masters student affiliated with Simon Fraser University’s NeuroSpine Lab, in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. My research centres on the design and evaluation of a novel ankle orthotic intended to enhance functional recovery following ankle injury. This work integrates experimental biomechanics, wearable device prototyping, and quantitative gait analysis to assess both mechanical performance and user outcomes.

Teaching Experience

Advanced Kinematics for Robotic Systems

Teaching Assistant (May – Aug. 2024, & May – Aug. 2025)

  • A fourth-year course focused on the kinematics of robotic manipulators
  • Guided students as they progressed through their term design project.
  • Ran tutorials to answer questions, provide examples, and clarity on key course concepts.
  • Assisted in establishing the parameters for the term project by defining constraints with course instructor.
Kinematics and Dynamics of Rigid Bodies and Mechanisms

Teaching Assistant (May 2025 – August 2025)

  • A second-year course focused on the kinematics of rigid bodies.
  • Presented practice problems and assisted in the delivery of course materials through office hours and tutorials.
Statics and Dynamics

Teaching Assistant (Sept. – Dec. 2025)

  • A first-year course introducing the fundamentals of forces on bodies, and systems in equilibrium.
  • Created lab material to help teach concepts of internal forces in truss systems.
  • Supervised labs and provided students with guidance regarding materials.

Awards & Grants

  1. Mitacs Accelerate Grant (July 2024)
